D8010W (WXGA) and D8900 (XGA) offer superb image quality with built-in Edge-Blending and Dual Lamp Technologies
Hoofddorp, January 28, 2013 – Vivitek Corporation, a leading manufacturer of innovative visual presentation products, has announced the addition of two new projectors to the D8000 range for installations in large venues. The new D8900 provides 10,000 ANSI lumens of brightness, native WXGA resolution and built-in edge-blending & warping technology which make the projector imminently versatile for a multitude of different applications like in concert or sports arenas as well as auditoriums.
The new D8010W is a high-brightness WXGA projector with 8000 ANSI lumens and native 16:10 wide screen resolution together with a broad range of connectivity solutions, including HDMI, DVI-D, Component, VGA and HDSDI-In and -Out, RS-232C and RJ45. The D8010W also features built-in Edge Blending & Warping functionalities.
These new additions to the range are designed for the widest variety of installations. Up to ten users defined lens positions for focus, zoom, and lens shift to be set and stored via Lens Position Memory (LPS) ensure easy and flexible use in changing environments. Six interchangeable lens options are available for flexible positioning in for a varying screen size or projection distance requirements. For additional ease in installation, these projectors also enable image edge blending & warping and geometric corrections for installations projection on curved surfaces. Both are network-ready for integration and system administration via RJ45 and feature a built-in 12V trigger for external device controlling.
The front and side replaceable filters enable easy maintenance and the integrated dual-lamp switching technology allows for 24/7 operation by switching to single lamp operation should one lamp go down. The dual lamp switching technology also ensures that the lamps work efficiently together to create a brighter and more brilliant quality of image.

The Vivitek D8800 projector is priced at 12.000 Euros including standard lens (excluding VAT). The projector has a five year warranty and 1 year (or 1,000 hours) lamp warranty (whichever comes first).
